Here's the firehouse from the Portola side of the street.  Our neighbor's Bob and Judy described a night when they happened to be looking out their window and several men literally "flew" out of the bay window, rolled, jumped in a BMW and took off.  Exciting night, apparently!  We finally picked the colors and are really happy with them.  There will ultimately be ledgestone planters in front of the "firehouse" doors.  Then people will know which door is actually our front door!  Looking forward to lots of entertaining on the patio.  Looking very forward to completing our landscape plan sometime in the spring.  There will be more stained concrete and ledgestone.  Mac and Cindy are ready to stain again!  We are working on a fountain structure for the backyard.

This is a view from the corner.  You can see the garage that we added, and the rafter tails that Rich matched around the side of the building. The apartment is to the rear of the garage.  There is now a new Craftsman-style fence in front of the apartment that creates a private courtyard for our inaugural tenant, Denise! This fence will extend around the property in various forms, including in some sort of bench form out front..
